Founder Jen Valenti began formulating when perimenopause changed her skin and the products she had relied on for years stopped working.
What began as a personal search became a private circle of women testing and shaping the formulas over three years. The resulting collection is organized around The Alchemy Method: Hydrate. Calm. Strengthen. Signal. Rather than assigning permanent skin types, Alchemy 21/12 builds rituals around how skin is behaving now and how ready it is for correction.

FOUNDER STORY
Built inside a private circle.
Alchemy 21/12 did not begin as a line planned for a market. It began when Jen Valenti’s own skin changed during perimenopause, and products that had worked for twenty years stopped working.
The women around her were living through the same collision. They had reached powerful seasons in their careers and personal lives, yet stress, hormones, procedures, travel, and time were showing up visibly on their skin. They became the private circle that tested, challenged, and shaped the formulas for three years before the collection opened to the public.
The goal was never to make women look like someone else. It was to help skin recover enough that they could recognize themselves again.
SHORT BIOGRAPHY
Jen ValentiJen Valenti is the founder and formulator behind Alchemy 21/12. A veteran AI, healthcare, media, and technology executive, she has spent more than 25 years commercializing emerging technologies and building businesses around ideas before the market fully understood them. Her early career included work as a film executive, with credits including The Waterboy and Men in Black II, followed by senior leadership roles at Nielsen, Citi, WorkFusion, Capgemini, and EY. She began developing Alchemy 21/12 after perimenopause changed her skin and exposed the limitations of symptom-first skincare
