Red Ginseng PDRN
Establish the condition
Red ginseng PDRN increased proteins associated with hydration retention and barrier cohesion in ex-vivo skin. The daily foundation is designed to replenish water, then support the structures that help keep it there.
Supplier ex-vivo testing of RG PDRN 1000 at the tested 1% concentration reported a 206.55% increase in filaggrin expression and a 154.47% increase in claudin-1 expression versus untreated tissue.

PAD · PT-8 · EGCG
Calm the visible response
PAD targets visible erythema. PT-8 helps quiet an irritation-associated heat response. EGCG supports antioxidant defense against stress pathways that can keep skin looking red and reactive.
The 95% erythema result came from a human study of a different formula containing 5% PAD plus 1% hydroxypropyl chitosan. PT-8 and EGCG results also came from independently tested formulas and concentrations.

Red Ginseng PDRN
Strength measured after stress
In ingredient-level testing, red ginseng PDRN increased collagen type I expression, restored a key water-holding protein after UV stress, and reduced expression of MMP-1, a collagen-breakdown enzyme.
Supplier ingredient-level testing of RG PDRN 1000 reported the collagen type I, UV-stressed filaggrin, and MMP-1 findings shown here. These endpoints were measured in laboratory models and do not represent testing of Essentials I as a finished system.

Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 · AH-8
Expression-line signaling
Published human studies of AH-8 formulas have reported measurable improvements in wrinkle depth and objective skin roughness, including randomized, placebo-controlled evidence in peri-orbital lines.
The up-to-30% wrinkle-depth result came from published human skin-topography research after 30 days using a different formulation containing AH-8. The 48.9% result came from a randomized, placebo-controlled four-week human study. The 7.4% post-expression roughness result came from a separate supplier human study. Earlier literature may identify Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 by its former INCI name, Acetyl Hexapeptide-3.

Essentials II preserves the hydration and barrier architecture of Essentials I, then layers in a deeper corrective stack. Red ginseng PDRN research spans water-holding proteins, barrier cohesion, and collagen type I expression.
These PDRN findings come from supplier ingredient-level laboratory testing, including ex-vivo skin models. They describe the substantiation record behind red ginseng PDRN and do not represent clinical testing of Essentials II as a finished system.

The 21.7% PAR-2 result came from supplier testing of Camellia extracellular vesicles in heat-stressed HaCaT cells. The PAD, PT-8, and EGCG findings came from separate published human studies using different formulas and concentrations.

Matrixyl 3000 supplies matrikine signaling associated with dermal repair, while PT-5 adds a distinct collagen-linked wrinkle pathway. Different peptide signals, one structural objective.
The Matrixyl 3000 figure is a branded supplier claim. The PT-5 finding came from a separate 20-person split-face human study using a different finished formula. These findings do not represent testing of Essentials II as a finished system.

GHK-Cu · Copper Tripeptide-1
Copper signaling · measured in human skin
GHK-Cu brings a distinct copper-peptide signal to Essentials II. Human research has measured changes in facial wrinkle volume and depth, while separate biopsy work has documented increased collagen production in treated skin.
The 55.8% wrinkle-volume and 32.8% wrinkle-depth findings came from an eight-week randomized, double-blind human study using GHK-Cu delivered in a nano-lipid carrier and compared with the control serum. The 70% collagen-response finding came from a separate human biopsy study. These studies used different vehicles and do not represent clinical testing of GHK Night Cream or Essentials II as finished products.
Percentages shown reflect ingredient-level in-vitro, ex-vivo, supplier, or published human research conducted at the concentrations and in the vehicles identified in the research context. Essentials I and Essentials II have not been clinically tested as finished systems, and these findings do not predict individual results.

Why Alchemy 21/12 Exists
Founder and formulator Jen Valenti created Alchemy 21/12 after her own skin changed at the exact moment her life demanded more from her.
