Camellia extracellular vesicles: In supplier testing, EXO-CAMELLISOME reduced PAR-2 expression by 21.7% in heat-stressed HaCaT keratinocytes. The raw material was characterized at an average particle size of 122.8 nm and approximately 9.27 × 10⁸ particles per milliliter.

PAD: In a randomized, double-blind, placebo-controlled pilot study, a cream containing 5% potassium azeloyl diglycinate plus 1% hydroxypropyl chitosan was used twice daily for four weeks. Clinical inspection reported facial erythema disappearing in 95% of treated participants by day 42.

PT-8: In a 13-person SDS challenge, a formula containing Palmitoyl Tripeptide-8 reduced the irritation-associated skin-temperature rise by 78% when applied after the challenge.

EGCG: In a four-person split-face study, a 2.5% EGCG cream reduced HIF-1α-positive epidermal staining from 28.4% to 13.8%, a 51.4% relative reduction, after six weeks.

The published human studies used different finished formulas, concentrations, and delivery systems than Essentials II.

Matrixyl 3000: Croda reports anti-wrinkle efficacy equivalent to an age gain of approximately two years after one month and up to 5.5 years after two months in supplier testing of its branded Palmitoyl Tripeptide-1 and Palmitoyl Tetrapeptide-7 complex.

GHK-Cu: In a one-month active-controlled study of 20 participants, topical GHK-Cu increased procollagen synthesis in 7 of 10 treated women, compared with 5 of 10 using vitamin C and 4 of 10 using retinoic acid.

PT-5: A 20-person split-face thesis study reported a 24.78% reduction in facial wrinkle size versus untreated skin with a cream containing Palmitoyl Tripeptide-5. The formula differed from Recover-Me 3S, and the same research did not detect measurable PT-5 uptake or penetration in its separate in-vitro skin model.

These findings reflect separate ingredient or finished-formula studies and do not establish the performance of Essentials II as a completed system.

Red ginseng PDRN: Supplier testing reported a 147.29% increase in collagen type I expression in ex-vivo skin at the tested 1% concentration, 58.75% inhibition of MMP-1 expression at 0.3%, and a 28.54% increase in fibroblast migration at 0.3%.

AH-8: In a randomized, placebo-controlled study of 60 participants, topical Argireline / Acetyl Hexapeptide-8 produced 48.9% total anti-wrinkle efficacy after four weeks, compared with 0% for placebo.
